Tuesday June 11 AFEdemy organised a multiplier event on age-friendly environments at location PLNT in Leiden. The event was named “Together for an age-friendly region Leiden” and took place in cooperation with organisation ‘Stichting Inclusie en Discriminatiebestrijding’ (iDb). It was attended by delegates and policy makers from the city of Leiden and Katwijk, educational institutions, and several social and cultural organisations.
TRIO was one of the projects discussed during this meeting and was received with great enthusiasm by the attendees. The what, why, and how of the TRIO project were explained and the TRIO outputs (the manual, platform, toolkit, and green paper) were discussed at length, At the end of the event there was time for networking and discussions, during which attendees had the possibility to view the manual and test the learning platform.
