In February 2023, AFEdemy conducted impactful co-creation workshops with target groups in the Netherlands as part of the TRIO project. These workshops, designed to engage participants from various age groups, featured a total of 10 individuals, comprising 6 women and 4 men. Each workshop group consisted of 3 participants, except for the 51+ group, which had 4 participants. The workshops took place in Leiden for the 18-35 age group and in Gouda for the other two groups.
The co-creation workshops proved invaluable in providing insights into citizens’ perspectives and understanding the primary difficulties faced by different age groups within the project’s focus areas. Furthermore, the workshops served as a platform to validate the effectiveness of the educational games and evaluate their suitability.
The insights gained have played a significant role in identifying functional issues and shaping the platform’s content to meet the specific needs of each age group. By incorporating the valuable conclusions drawn from the workshops, the TRIO project team can ensure the platform’s effectiveness and enhance its overall impact.
