TRIO and VR2CARE Projects Collaborate on Human-Computer Interaction Research

In April 2022, the TRIO project was introduced at the kickoff meeting of the VR2CARE project in Vila Real. Both projects, sharing common partners AFEdemy and INESCtec, focus on a older adults target audience and emphasize the interaction between person and computer as a key research area. Running concurrently, TRIO and VR2CARE held participatory sessions that were crucial for developing a shared understanding of human-computer interaction.

The collaboration continued at the recent final international event, where the teams presented their results and discussed shared themes with other projects and professionals from scientific, medical, and local political fields. This cooperation proved to be highly beneficial, enhancing the outcomes and impact of both TRIO and VR2CARE.

The exchange of insights and methodologies between these projects underscores the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing research and practical applications in the field of digital health and literacy for older adults.
