Representing SHINE 2Europe, Carina Dantas was invited to participate in the first national conference for the promotion of active and successful ageing, conducted in Coimbra, Portugal, on the 3rd and 4th October 2023.
This marks a new initiative in Coimbra’s Municipality that now has a Gerontology and Active Ageing Office. This conference also aims to encourage other municipalities and entities in the creation of such good practices, regarding these areas! Considering this innovation, SHINE presented a few of its projects, whose aim is to promote inclusive communities, through social innovation. TRIO was one of the mentioned projects, where healthier living, participating ageing, citizen empowerment and adult education are focused.
